We Remember

Butser and Elm class made a visit to Charlton Church this morning to see their poppy display. As a school community we value the courage shown by our armed forces as they fought for us.

The pupils were amazed at all of the hundreds of handmade poppies that were on display as we walked through the church yard.

Inside the church the pupils put on army hats and showed excellent listening skills when the Vicar read them a book about Stubby a brave dog who was a hero in World War 1.
