Here at Littlegreen Academy, painting remains a firm favourite with many of the pupils.

We’ve been practicing our colour mixing using both watercolour paint and acrylic paint to create expressive, abstract portrait paintings as well as more realistic representations.

Kallum spent several lessons reproducing a mermaid painting he had seen, whilst Hedley spent his time painting a tiger. Both pupils showed perseverance in their painting by coming back to it week after week until it was complete.

The results are fantastic and, I’m sure you’ll agree, their perseverance paid off!
