National Careers Week
National Careers Week started with our staff and pupils dressing up for Role Model Day!
Our staff shared their career journeys with the pupils, who enjoyed hearing about the various job roles they had before joining the school.
Our Year 9’s had a successful trip to the SAND Project, who offer full time Sixth Form College places for those aged 16-18 and personalised workplace-based programmes. They were able to look behind the scenes, learning about all the current and upcoming projects they are offering. They also thoroughly enjoyed the hot chocolate station that was on offer, designing and then making their own hot chocolate.
On Wednesday and Thursday we welcomed a variety of guests to our business breakfasts, including Shane and Paige from Crimsham Farm, Sophie from Chichester College and Sarah who is our Trust HR Lead. Many of the pupils dressed in smart attire such as shirts and ties and delivered speeches and presentations with confidence and knowledge about their future aspirations and many with a plan of how they will achieve them.
