Journey to the moon

Elm Class had an amazing Journey to the moon at Chichester Cathedral.

We played musical instruments and sang to show the three phases of getting to the moon.

They used drumming to build our rocket, xylophones to show the stars we saw on our way through space and our voices and bodies when we were exploring the moon.

At the end of our journey, we looked up and we had an audience who gave the pupils a much-deserved round of applause.

The class also learnt to sing a song about bright shining stars using sign language.
